Full Stack Engineer Intern (Odoo) – 6 Months

Program Overview

Are you a talented and ambitious developer looking to gain practical experience in Full Stack development with a focus on Odoo? We are thrilled to present the 6-Month Full Stack Engineer/Developer Internship Program (Odoo) at Infintor, a renowned company specializing in ERP implementation and software solutions.

This comprehensive internship program is designed to provide aspiring Full Stack Engineers with hands-on experience working with Odoo, the world's fastest-growing all-in-one business management software. Throughout the 6 months, you will transition from functional fundamentals to advanced backend/frontend development, ultimately contributing directly to live client projects.

Phase 1: Foundations, Functional Mastery & Technical Basics

• Month 1: Functional Alignment & Core Odoo Workflows

  • Focus: Understanding how Odoo works from an end-user perspective.

  • Activities: E-learning modules covering CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Projects, Accounting, HRMS, Manufacturing, and E-commerce.

• Month 2: Core Technical Training & Introduction to Framework

  • Focus: Transitioning to technical setup and understanding the backend/frontend Odoo architecture.

  • Activities: Local environment configuration (Ubuntu, PostgreSQL, and Git version control). Dive into Odoo’s architecture covering Models, Fields, Views (XML), Security Rules (CSV), and core ORM methods (@api.depends, @api.onchange). Introduction to frontend basics using QWeb templates and the Owl framework.

Phase 2: Live Project Integration & Engineering Core

• Month 3: Guided Live Project Onboarding & Code Debugging

  • Focus: Transitioning into real-world software engineering within an active team.

  • Activities: Join a sprint team under the guidance of a senior mentor. Learn to navigate large codebases, handle git workflows, interpret client requirements, and debug existing modules. Focus shifts to writing clean, PEP 8-compliant Python code.

Phase 3: Advanced Development & Capstone Delivery

• Months 4 to 6: Full-Stack Project Contribution & Final Evaluation

  • Focus: Autonomy, deep customization, and professional delivery.

  • Activities: Take ownership of complex development tasks on live internal or client-facing projects. Develop advanced customizations including API integrations (XML-RPC/JSON-RPC), automated server actions, complex reporting (QWeb PDF & XLSX), and specialized frontend view overrides.

Terms & Conditions

Stipend & Compensation

Please note: This is a learning and experience-intensive internship program. No stipend or monetary compensation will be provided for the duration of the 6-month training period.

Performance Reviews & Assessments

• Monthly Progress Gates: At the end of each month, you will undergo an internal assessment consisting of practical code reviews and technical interviews to evaluate your product knowledge and comprehension.

• Performance Clause: Progression through the program is entirely performance-dependent. If a candidate’s performance, technical growth, or professionalism is deemed unsatisfactory during any monthly evaluation, the training will be discontinued immediately.

Career Opportunities

Upon the successful completion of all stages of this 6-month program, outstanding interns will be fast-tracked for Full Stack Engineer positions within Infintor. Permanent job offers and subsequent compensation packages will be aligned with company policies and reflective of your exceptional performance during the internship.
